How often are the courses run?

The courses are offered twice a year. First intake is in March and the second intake is in September. An option of rescheduling the course time on request is available.

How long are the courses?

It is the one week intensive Master Class program totalling 50 hours per each course

What level of industry expertise must I have to enrol in this course?

You need to have an undergraduate diploma/degree in fashion or the equivalent. It is helpful if you work in an apparel product development environment, but this is not essential.

Do I have to be currently employed in the apparel industry to enrol?

No, you do not, but some experience in industry is useful to gaining maximum benefit from the courses.

Will I own my blocks and have the right to use it as I wish after the course?

Yes, you will own your own blocks and you will also have the skill to use it properly and implement into your workplace.

What happen if I can't get to a workshop - are there notes I can access?

If you wish to enrol but do not immediately get a position in the course, a 10% deposit will secure a place for you. As soon as a place becomes available you will be contacted and offered the place. Study manual will be provided to you when you start attending the course.

Do employers in the industry recognise this course as worthwhile?

Yes this is a well recognised course by employers with some employers choosing to send their entire product development team to the course. Graduate students include employees from 60 or 70 apparel companies including all facets of industry. Having the qualification may help you get the job, but more importantly having the skills provided by ICCON will help you do your job better! Doing your job well will result in better wages and increased job satisfaction.
